South East and South South Governors’ meeting ends in Enugu with the governors agreeing to pursue regional integration and cooperation. The Governors from the two zones also agreed to work together, politically for the mutual interests of the regions.
They appointed the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency, Mr. Udom Emmanuel as interim Chairman of the Forum. Fixed August 27, as the date for the next meeting in Rivers State.
Enugu State is in the hands of God.
